Healthcare Compliance
Building policies, training, and oversight aligned with healthcare industry standards for privacy and the responsible handling of sensitive information.
Privacy, Security & Compliance
Protecting the privacy and security of the families we serve is a core part of Wayfinder's commitment — from day one.
At Wayfinder Children's Therapy, protecting the privacy and security of the families we serve is a core part of our commitment.
As we prepare for our September 2026 opening, Wayfinder is building a comprehensive healthcare compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management program designed to support the responsible handling of sensitive information.
Wayfinder is actively building and implementing its HIPAA compliance program in preparation for launch. We are not yet representing ourselves as fully HIPAA compliant — we are doing the work to get there thoughtfully, with the right policies, training, and safeguards in place before we open our doors.
Program pillars
Four areas of focus as we build Wayfinder's privacy, security, and compliance program.
Building policies, training, and oversight aligned with healthcare industry standards for privacy and the responsible handling of sensitive information.
Establishing technical safeguards and security practices that protect the systems and data entrusted to us by the families we serve.
Carefully evaluating the vendors, platforms, and partners we work with so that our standards extend across every service we provide.
Designing clear, family-friendly privacy practices and notices that explain how information is collected, used, and protected.
Wayfinder partners with CRISP Security, an independent compliance, cybersecurity, and risk management firm, to support our privacy, security, third-party risk management, and healthcare compliance initiatives.
Working alongside an independent expert helps us hold our program to a higher standard — and gives families an added layer of assurance as we grow.
We want to create an environment where families can feel confident that their information is handled with care, professionalism, and industry best practices.
Additional information regarding privacy practices, compliance programs, and accepted insurance plans will be made available as services launch.
